CNM Films is the cinematic production division of CNM Mediacraft, dedicated to creating compelling short films, documentaries, web productions, and future feature films that communicate timeless biblical truths through powerful storytelling and world-class visual artistry. Every production is driven by the vision of presenting the Gospel in a language that resonates with today’s generation while maintaining uncompromising scriptural values.
The journey of CNM Films began in 2018, just before the global COVID-19 pandemic, with the release of its debut Odia short film, “ଭିନ୍ନ ଏକ ପ୍ରେମ କାହାଣୀ” (A Different Love Story). Inspired by the biblical narrative of the Prodigal Son, the film portrayed the unconditional love of a father through a contemporary cinematic narrative. Its emotional storytelling and fresh visual approach received widespread appreciation from audiences within the Odia Christian community and beyond.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when the world was gripped by uncertainty, CNM Films responded with two thought-provoking cinematic productions that reached viewers across national boundaries.
The first film, “The Pandemic – More Than COVID-19,” challenged audiences to look beyond the health crisis and confront the devastating realities of hunger, poverty, and human suffering. This was followed by “The Corona Pandemic – After Effects,” a deeply emotional sequel portraying the unexpected struggles faced by survivors and families whose lives were permanently altered by the pandemic. Both productions were widely appreciated for their relevant social themes and compassionate biblical perspective.
Building upon this momentum, CNM Films released its second Odia short film, “ସର୍ବଂସହା“, presenting a powerful family-centered message on sacrifice, unconditional love, forgiveness, and reconciliation. The film further strengthened the ministry’s commitment to producing stories that inspire faith while addressing real-life human experiences.
A major turning point came in 2021, when CNM Films underwent a significant technological transformation through the modernization of its production studio and filmmaking infrastructure. This investment culminated in the production of its first professionally crafted Hindi short film, “DANGAAI,” released in August 2022.
The film went on to receive widespread critical acclaim, earning five award nominations, three awards at the KKM Film Festival, and one International Award at the Goa International Film Festival in 2023. The success of DANGAAI established CNM Films as an emerging faith-based filmmaking ministry committed to excellence in cinematic storytelling.
Following these achievements, CNM Films expanded its creative portfolio by producing several cinematic Christian music videos featuring original storylines, emotionally engaging screenplays, and impactful dialogues written by Pastor Prachi. These productions continue to raise the creative standard of Christian visual media while communicating messages of hope, redemption, and God’s transforming love.
Today, CNM Films continues to pursue its vision of producing meaningful cinema that transcends entertainment—creating stories that challenge hearts, strengthen faith, and glorify Christ. With several new short films, documentaries, and larger cinematic projects currently in development, the ministry remains committed to using the language of film to proclaim the Gospel with creativity, excellence, and eternal purpose.
If you share our vision for transforming lives through Christian cinema, we invite you to partner with us. Whether through prayer, financial support, professional collaboration, or volunteering, your involvement can help bring future Kingdom-centered productions to audiences around the world.
